Privacy Policy

1 – CONFIRMATION
All reservation or amendment requests will be confirmed within 48 hours. When the immediate confirmation is not possible, booking status will be advised in return by facsimile or email within 24 hours.

2 – BOOKINGS
Golden Dragon Travels operates representative Offices in Siem Reap, Kingdom of Cambodia. We confirm and received the booking only via email at booking@goldendragontravels.com.

3 – VALIDITY, GENERAL CONDITIONS
The stated prices apply according to the validity specified in the quotation. If passport, visa, customs, health or currency provisions of individual countries are not met by the passenger and thus prevent him or her from participating in the journey, Focus Asia may charge the corresponding cancellation fees to the client If Golden Dragon Travels agrees to arrange for visas and/or similar documents, it acts on behalf of the client. Any risks due to the refusal of the respective government to issue such documents shall be borne by the organizer alone.


4 – PAYMENT

Full settlement should be received no later than 21 days prior to guests’ arrival, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. Payment has to be made by bank transfer to the account of Golden Dragon Travels specified on the invoice. All bank charges have to be paid by the payee. We reserve the right to cancel your booking if full payment is not received by the due date and applicable cancellation penalties will apply. Any payment overdue for more than 30 days is subject to 4% p.a. interest fees.

 

5 – Flight Bookings

In order to avoid ticketing problems, Golden Dragon Travels will issue tickets for flight bookings soonest as sending out the booking confirmation. Therefore it is absolutely necessary that Golden Dragon Travels receives upon booking the complete and correctly spelled names of all travelers as stated in their passports.

It is therefore the duty of each tour operator to check the names stated in our booking information carefully and inform us within 7 days of receiving the booking confirmation about any error or necessary changes to the traveler’s names. Any additional costs that the airlines will charge to Golden Dragon Travels after these 7 days because of name changes will be invoiced to the tour operator. For bookings with arrivals less than 30 days after our booking confirmation, there is a reduced deadline of 2 days.

The below-mentioned cancellation fees are not affected by this regulation.

6 – CANCELLATION
Cancellation of a reservation will only be taken into consideration once notice is received in writing.

Cambodia

– 31+ days – no cancellation fees
– 15 to 30 days before arrival date – 20% of tour price

– 07 to 14 days before arrival date – 30% of tour price

– 03 to 06 days before arrival date – 50% of tour price

– Less than 03 days or No Show – 100% of tour price

 

Special cancellation fees may apply if specified in the quotation. In addition, Golden Dragon Travels may claim losses exceeding the flat rate cancellation fee, whenever proof of such loss can be provided. In such instances, the client is entitled to furnish proof to Golden Dragon Travels that no loss has yet occurred or that it is considerably lower than the excess amount charged. Golden Dragon Travels is entitled to pass on additional costs to the client if charged for by service providers (e.g. fees for unoccupied beds/seats).

7 – CHILD POLICY
For airlines, children under 12 years of age accompanying parents will be charged 90% of the adult fare. For package tours, one or two children under 12 years of age sharing a room with parents using existing bedding will be charged 70% of the adult tour price. Special conditions may apply on a case by case basis.

8 – INDEMNITY AND HOLD HARMLESS
In the event of unpredictable events against which we are powerless or which are beyond reasonable control, either party shall be released from its obligations without compensation. That party nevertheless, undertakes to inform the other party by every available means in order to limit potential loss or damage.

9 – RESPONSIBILITY
Golden Dragon Travels acts as an intermediary between the concerned airlines, hotels, transport operators, and local tourist offices providing the services. Golden Dragon Travels is, therefore, not responsible for any loss, injury, or damage sustained by the passengers, including those occurring outside of the touring programs. Additional expenses incurred due to delays, accidents, natural disasters, political actions, and unrest must be borne by the traveler. Participation in any tours implies full agreement to the above conditions by all parties involved. The place of jurisdiction for actions brought against Golden Dragon Travels shall be Siem Reap, Cambodia.
